how to image to SSD

Hi all
just got samsung evo 850 500gb SSD.

Only problem is Samsungs Clone software SUCKS.

Never fails to fail.

Is there any software that is free so i dont have to buy some expensive software just to clone an SSD without it creating a small Partition.
Cloning from 100gb SSD to 500GB

Dont fancy reinstalling win 7 then hours of updates to get win 10 again.

Help please

Ppl don't seem to understand that majority of the time, it fails because of an issue with the Source disk.

Or, the OS settings.

Windows can control HDD cloning. You sometimes need to enter the 'Services' panel in Admin Tools and enable the disk copy.

I once had a customer try to clone a 8 year old harddrive that had sectors that couldn't be repaired and when i explained why he can't do that, he cursed me out and returned the SSD and said he's never coming to the shop i work at again.

But for alternatives?
Macrium Reflect, Acronis Trueimage, Easus Toto, Casper
