If you're wondering why I care so much about it being updated, it's because I care for privacy.
So if microsoft can update my windows once, it's enough for them to download tools do more like collecting personal information.

As the image explains:
I installed a clean version of windows 7 from an official .iso(I checked it's hash) while the internet cable was out.

First thing I did when the installition was done was to disable updates from the update settings and disabling the Windows Updates service.

AND THEN I plugged the internet cable and installed the LAN driver for it to work.

Then only things I downloaded was chrome and nvidia drivers
Then I restarted and when I went to the system restore I saw what you see in the picture!

Can't I like block the url of the update check or something like that?
For example in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc the hosts file?

In the image, under the Update setting page, i read 'Note: Windows might update itself automatically first when checking for other updates'.

I don't know but this seems like a clue.

Yes yess, update it, for the sake of all of us. Disable all that crap, it's possible, also, hahaha, your personal data is collected by everyone from your ISP to your government, so chill out, at least you know microsoft is doing it. (also, you don't want microsoft to collect stuff but you want to open the door and invite whatever malicious behavior right in? Seems retarded)
