What kind of hardware do I need to play PC games in 3D?

Sorry, I forgot to say 3D movies. What about all those comments I found searching Google that states that the monitor only works at 60 Hz when connected to HDMI?

Correct, but movies run at like 24 hz.

That sounds wonderful. I already have a Sony standalone 3D Blu-ray player in my home theater. I never bought the 3D HDTV because they are way too much expensive for my budget. This monitor is not as big as a 3D HDTV but is affordable enough for my budget. At least I'll be able to get a taste of 3D Blu-ray movies even at a smaller size. Thanks for your answers guys!

Before you buy that monitor, you might want to contact Asus and ask them specifically if it will still work with a TV input.
I know I watched 3D Blu-Rays using my PS3 hooked up to my 60" LG 3D TV, while also using the LG 3D Glasses that come with it, which require charging.

There's multiple ways to do 3D, and you need the correct glasses for your TV/Monitor, and whatever is outputting the 3D also has to output it in the way your glasses can make it work.

Uhh, no, each monitor is different, you'll have to check with the manufactuer.
The ASUS monitor will also probably only work with the Nvidia 3D glasses.

it's actually pretty complicated.
