Greetings.
So, recently I bought a new CPU.
My mobo and gpu were working fine.
So, I put in the new CPU(all tightly fitted, thermal paste pre-applied) and it didn't want to boot. Tried flashing BIOS to latest version, it succeded. Booted on my old cpu just to check it. Works just like always.
So, I tried with new cpu. Nothing, even with updated BIOS.
Cleared CMOS. Nothing.
1 stick of RAM. Nothing.
Checked if there was enough thermal paste and if all cables are plugged in. Nothing.
As last resort, I tried to boot with only HDD, a stick of RAM and CPU. Nothing.
Please help.

CPU: AMD FX 6100 (new, AM3+)
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 5800+(old, AM2)
RAM: Kingston KVR800D2N6/2G
Apacer DDR3 PC6400/800,2GB,APA(apa-2gb800d2-apa)
GPU: Zotac Nvidia GTX 650 2GB
MB: ASRock 960GC-GS FX(AM2,AM3,AM3+)

NOTE: In mobo manual it says that AM3+ sockets support up to 95 watts of power. The FX 6100 has 95 watts.

Solution
It looks like the fx6100 has problem, because the pc works fine, only you switch the new cpu, fx6100, and the pc does not work. And the MB does not need the BIOS update to support the fx6100. Going to exchange the cpu.
