mother board problem

I just put to gather a computer using z97Pro4 and ICore 5 cpu. When I turn the computer on, it does not display anything on the monitor. The power cuts off and than comes on and than cuts off. It does not stay on. I am using 8gb of Ram and SSD hard drive with LG DVD burner.

Any idea what I may be doing wrong in my installation of this computer.

Any help would be apreciated.

What model of DRAM, what PSU and GPU? could be a number of things
