I consider myself a pretty tech savy guy but I have no idea whats wrong with my computer. I been using google and asking friends throughout these past weeks with still no solution.

a couple of months ago, I was gaming on Crossfire playing GTAV when my PC shut down on its own and would boot up and shut down repeatedly until i unplug the power cord. I had to unplug it for 30 minutes and turn it back on for it to work. Since then my computer is having huge issues of it just shutting down when gaming and not being able to boot up (constant restarts) unless i unplug the power cord for 30 minutes and plug it in. If i browse the web or do light computer work, I had 0 issues and the computer would work fine. my motherboard started having issues (no sound ports worked) so i figured something on my motherboard went bad. The weird thing is about 1 out of 5 times, everything will work perfectly with no reboots (i can game as well). at that point I left my computer on and did not shut it off since I know ill be stuck in the constant reboots if i turned off my computer.

Figuring something was wrong with my PC, heres what i replaced:
power supply with AX860i Platinum
video card with msi 390x
heatsink cooler arctic 7 on my i7-2600k

Issue still persisted so I thought it has to be my motherboard crapping out. I bought an Asrock z77 extreme 4 and just installed it a couple of days ago and now my computer will just shut off after 15 min (gaming or light browsing) and be stuck in constant reboot until i turn it off. so the situation became worse and now I have no idea what to do. I will paypal you money for a beer if you can find a solution. I would really appreciate it. thank you

things ive done:
memtest and prime95 my memory and cpu for 8 hours+ with 0 issues (on my old motherboard)
used openhardware monitor to monitor my cpu and gpu temps (never got over 70c)

could my memory be bad? i tested it. is there a small chance my wall sockets in my room are not powerful enough for my computer? i find that weird since it worked for a long time with 0 issues.

You haven't changed the CPU yet, have you?

It's possible that it might be causing your problems.

You've changed everything else that I would have done, starting with the PSU, so it looks like the only other big ticket item that might be causing your symptoms is the CPU.
