With my motherboard, sometimes, whether it's a restart or a boot from full shut down, my computer will turn off and then back on after a few seconds. It never happens while the system is running. It only happens before it POSTs. Is this something I should be concerned about? It has been happening for 2 years. Here are my specs:

CPU - Intel Core i5 3570K
Mobo - GIGABYTE Z68A-D3H-B3
RAM - 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz LP
HDD - Some old Apple MacBook HDD, although tested with multiple HDDs.

I have a Rosewill PSU, that's all I know about it. Not the original PSU, so that means I've tested with two. I think I fixed it, I perused forums for a few hours and found that my RAM and the BIOS weren't playing nice, so I updated to beta UEFI BIOS U1d and so far so good. In any case, now that I know what the issue is (it makes sense to me, because it only happened during the boot process, never while it was running) I feel more comfortable running the system.
