out of the blue my seagate 1tb hdd starting making beeping noise and didin't appear in the windows is it dead or it would be fixable !!

Solution
In case the drive continues beeping even after changing port/cables, then it has failed.

In case the data on the drive is really important, you need to contact a data recovery company. As the drive is nowhere to be recognized, you can't really access it with software tools.
In case the drive is under warranty, you can just RMA it.
Freezing the drive will most probably void the warranty, if under any. If it is out of warranty and you will not use the services of a data recovery company, then I guess you can try that as you have nothing to lose. :)

Hi there Mesut Ozil,

Is this external or internal drive?
Either way, you need to start with something simple as just changing the cables.(SATA and power if internal and USB one if external)

In case the issue persists and the drive is beeping, I doubt that you will be able to access it with software tools. If it is under warranty, it may be a good idea to contact the manufacturer.
Yet, you can check whether and how it is recognized by Disk Management and BIOS.

Cheers,

If you can't access it, try putting it in a sealed bag (I use anti static bags for HDDs) and then in the freezer overnight. Try plugging it in afterwards and seeing if you can access your files. If you can copy them as quick as possible or clone the drive onto another using something like paragon or ghost. Good look.

I once saw a disk that tried to start but the PSU was failed so it did not send enough power to make it run. Could try switching PSU but the freezer trick is if you know the disk is failed. It does sometimes work as I have had to try it many times but you have to act quickly as the disk heats up pretty fast. Anyway good look with that. ;)
