I have always played console games and have recently wanted to get into pc. I have some money now and decided on an $800 budget. I ended with a little bit to spare so do you think this pc will run arma 3 and dayz on med-high settings and do I need to add or change anything. Also can this be hooked up with an hdmi? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/andyd18/saved/vWVPxr

That build looks OK but there are many ways to improve it.

The only real advantage of the i5-4690k over the standard i5's is overclocking and that motherboard doesn't support it anyway. Even if it did, I wouldn't recommend overclocking on your first PC. I'd get the standard i5 for slightly less cash.

You don't really need an aftermarket CPU cooler if you're not overclocking unless you care about quietness. The Intel stock cooler is reasonably quiet anyway.

That motherboard is mATX, that means it is smaller than usual to fit in smaller cases. I'd get a standard ATX board for that case since it will have more expansion options.

That PSU is average quality and has a far higher wattage than you need. I would get a better quality but...

I would connect to the internet with a wire, it will be much faster. If you can't, I would at least get a better quality wireless adapter for gaming.

That hard drive isn't much faster than a standard drive either, I'd just get a standard one.

That's cheaper with no real difference in performance. EDIT: It also has a better wireless card and PSU.
