I recently installed Windows 10, and have dual monitors, and a Samsung TV connected. The dual monitors are connected via DVI, and VGA. When I connect the HDMI cable for the Samsung TV, the DVI monitor disconnects, and says "no connection" (I am using the same Gigabyte videocard for both DVI/HDMI). When I unplug the HDMI, the DVI monitor turns back on, and everything is back to normal. All three connections worked with WIndows 7. Please help!

Solution
Their might be a change in Win 10 concerning VGA. Everything is going pure digital. And VGA is analog.

In addition to VGA being dropped, DVI is also going away. All new video cards coming out after this year will not have VGA or DVI ports on them. And due to that, the number of monitors that have those ports will also be plunging.

Only DisplayPort (DP) or HDMI ports will be used in the future. Mainly because everyone is looking at 4K video as being the near term future, and 8k and even 12k video as the long term future, and only DP can handle all of those, and HDMI can finally do 4k video with HDMI 2.0.

I know the video card companies, and Intel have all said they will be dropping all VGA and DVI ports by this year. Not sure if...

Is this something new for Windows 10? Because in Windows 7, I used:
1. Monitor connected via DVI
2. monitor connected via USB, with a (VGA adapter)....so essentially VGA
3. Samsung TV connected via HDMI (the HDMI and Monitor 1 (DVI) were both on the same Graphics card)

I hope that makes sense.

It might just be one of the huge number of Windows 10 bugs too. Nothing like jumping onto a broken bus way too early. Always sit back and let other people play beta tester with a new version of any OS. But especially Windows.

Well VGA is working (via the USB adapter as I said), and I can even get dual monitors (DVI and the VGA/USB), but it's when I attempt the third monitor (which is the Samsung TV), that throws Windows 10 or the graphics card for a loop. I'm going to try and uninstall and reinstall teh NVIDIA drivers when I get home to see if that helps. I'll keep you posted.
