Ram DDR2 400MHz and 800Mhz

I had 2x1GB ddr2 400mhz ram than i added 2x1GB ddr2 800MHz
my motherboard have 4 slots
1GB 400mhz
1GB 400mhz
1GB 800mhz
1GB 800mhz
Motherboard : Dell 0M858N
when i put in current pc started and everything start working , fans on , but nothing show in monitor , i tryed to shut down but i can't the only way was to tak of current , did u know why ?
can i solv this or i cant use those 1 gb 800 mhz

Generally speaking, the most common flaw in the idea of mixing RAM is that your computer will only perform at the lowest quality stick/pair. In your case, the computer will be limited to the performance of the 400 MHz pair. In most situations, mixing RAM does not cause display failure. To start troubleshooting your display problem, test the 800 MHz DIMMs in each slot on the motherboard, one at a time.

Repeat with the other 800 MHz DIMM. If after testing both of the 800 MHz DIMMs you still don't get a display, then either the DIMMs are bad, or incompatible with your motherboard.
