Hey, I'm new to PC gaming! My budget is a little tight with a $500-$600 range. I designed this build specifically for gaming, but will also be used for schoolowrk. I did some research on and seemed to be a pretty good build with the capability to run newer titles with high settings and nice fps. I don't know too much but I'll leave the part list below! The build costs around $580  which fits the range nice considering I still have to purchase a mouse/keyboard, etc., I have a little wiggle room for upgrades. Again, any feedback would be great! Thanks!!!

Build part list:
Case: Corsair Spec-01
Power Supply: Corsair 600w
Storage: WD blue 1TB internal hard drive
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb (2×4gb) DDR3 Desktop Memory
Processor: AMD 6300 6-core Processor Black Edition
Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270x 4gb GDDR5
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD ATX
Optical Drive: Samsung SATA 1.5 GB

That would an OK build. A few things...

CPU COOLER - You will need one to overclock. Also, the stock AMD cooler is a bit noisy.
MEM - The AMD platforms respond well to faster memory (this is not the case with an Intel build). DDR3-2133 or DDR3-2400 would be good substitutes for DDR3-1600 in this instance.
PSU - No. Stick with something from the Tier 1 or Tier 2 list (link below). Anything from Corsiar that is worth a purchase is typically too expensive. Look toward XFX or Seasonic.

With that said, and at $600, the build below is what I would recommend. It has a strong CPU that doesn't need to be overclocked, and a larger GPU.
