Cant access bios because keyboard only work when windows is starting...

Hi, i am trying to access bios to choose to boot from dvd to format the computer but keyboard only works when windows is starting... Any idea? Its a Desktop Computer. Thanks

Try going to Control panel>Power options>Choose what the power buttons do>clikc 'Change settings that are currently unavailable' and then uncheck 'Turn on fast start up'.

You usually can get into the bios with DEL or F2.
In the bios, there might be a default that sets numeric mode that does not let you use F2. Check your motherboard manual.
Try DEL to access the bios.
What is your motherboard?
