Hello, I have made 2 previous threads about this problem with one dating all the way back to January, the problem is still here. I will have another go at trying to sort this out but so far my attempts fail every time.
The issue is that my PC locks up randomly meaning that I can't move the mouse, screen freezes and pressing caps lock on my keyboard does not light it up, the only thing I can do at this point is to hard reset it and everything goes back to normal.
The lock ups occur several hours after startup so it takes a while for it to actually happen, it can happen while gaming, browsing the internet and also happened once when the PC was idle. So far I did all the things that came to mind:
Checked for viruses ( none )
Installed newest drivers
Ran different browsers ( did not expect it to help but ... )
Removed the GPU ( lock up still happened )
Running mem test right now ( 90% coverage and 0 errors )
Ran all cleaner programs
Checked for temperatures ( every time I checked nothing was above normal )
I did all the basic things and most things that people pointed to but without success.
It is not a faulty PSU, well I hope not because I got a new one in December last year ( Corsair 740M ) I could attempt to use my old one to check if the lock up still happens.
I am really lost, I don't know if hard resets are damaging my components and that's why this issue is bothering me so much, I have no money what so ever to give it to a specialist and even if I had I would run some test myself but I need spare parts such as RAM or another GPU.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know as I'm struggling with this issue for a good half of this year and any help would be appreciated, thank you for looking at this thread as it took me a while to type on a laptop ... their keyboards drive me crazy :/
anyway these are my specs if anyone is interested:
Intel i5 4670 3.40GHz
GTX 760ti 2gb
Windows 7 Ultimate
PSU is corsair 740M
and motherboard Gigabyte H81M-S2PV
and one more thing, as I mentioned I have no money so windows is not genuine and has been " registered " with 7loader by daz, I have been running the pirated windows for solid 2 years now but a few formats have happened maybe the issue is with the OS? I was hoping to install windows 10 and hope that it magically fixes itself but that would be an extreme step as I feel comfortable with windows 7.
Once again thanks for helping.

As I said, I have no money for the legal OS you can always buy it for me if you think that it is the issue
