Looking For A Good External Microphone For Smartphones! :D

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6, which is a great smartphone, it has a very good camera, but a pretty bad microphone when recording concerts. I need a good compact external microphone so I can record solid audio without buying large DSLR microphones and cables. Hope I'll find a good one soon.

My suggestion would be the Audio-Technica AT9902iS.
Very simple and compact; it can also clip to your tie/shirt/collar.

It has a frequency response of 80 – 15,000 Hz, if I am reading the specifications correctly. You likely won't get crystal-clear, rich bass response from it, as it is a small lapel microphone.
Just a side note, on a bass guitar tuned to standard, low E will be around 41Hz.
So in reality, you wouldn't get as good audio as specialized recording equipment:- but I assume it would definitely be a step up from your smartphones built-in microphone.
But don't just take my advice, read reviews on the product I suggested and do some research on it; and maybe ask some other users whom have more knowledge than I. You'll learn all the more from it! Though I do hope I've been of aid to you, anyway.

Thank you! I'll definitely take note of your suggestions. I just want a microphone that is as good as Lumia 1020/925's internal microphone, which is great. I'll look on the internet and I'll find the bang for the buck. Thanks again!
