I have two sets of these, total of 32gb of ram 1866mhz with XMP.
I have ran them for almost two years with XMP @ 1866mhz with no issues.
I recently upgraded everything in my computer except motherboard, memory, cpu, including H80i GT Corsair AIO CPU cooler.
I am trying to overclock the CPU which I have to 4750mhz with 125 boot strap, 37 Multiplier.
When overclocking to this speed, the only default options for memory speed is either 1666mhz or 2000mhz.
Trying the 2000mhz boots but then I get a BSOD after about 10 mins, setting it back down to 1666mhz everything is fine.
Are there manual timings I can use to try to achieve 2000mhz? What timings do you recommend? The kit is CL 8-9-9-24 1.5v by default.
Or, should I raise the CPU clock higher to try to get closer to 1866mhz?
