Looking for external 5TB drive for system backup

Building the following 4K video editing system and looking for a reliable 5TB USB 3.0 external drive for system backup. The 3 SSD drives are for OS/Apps/scratch files but I may cut that back to 2. Just explaining, not looking for advice there. The 3 3TB internal SATA III drives in the parts list will be winnowed down to one to hold "current" video files that aren't actively being worked on. BTW, I'm in the USA.

I'd been considering the Seagate 5TB external drive in the parts list but OMG the Seagate reviews in general are too bad. Thanks.

From what I've been reading about Seagate I could toss a coin to find out my chances of getting a dud so that's in there just to compare paper specs and pricing.

Okay, dropped the Seagate and the Samsung. My Book drives come with a 2 year warranty, Acronis software, and WD's Smartware backup software. The Elements drive is only 1 year warranty and doesn't have the software so it's out. Am throwing Toshiba's 5TB Canvio drive http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba Canvio-Desktop-External-HDWC250XK3J1/dp/B00J5EZNO0/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8 into the mix because Amazon/Newegg ratings of 4 of 5 stars and a 3 year warranty. Overall online retailer user reviews rank them in the following order: #1 My Book 6TB, #2 My Book 4TB, #3 Toshiba Canvio 5TB. Papa bear, baby bear or mama bear sizes... Guess I'll agonize over it a few more days. :)
