So I recently bought an IBuyPower PC and it randomly freezes at times, especially when and while watching YouTube videos. Sometimes it sounds god awful if there's music playing while t freezes.. It takes a hard reboot to fix then it's fine. I updated my graphics card and tested my cup, gpu, had, and ram.. All seem to be fine.. I have no idea what this could be.. I don't know if it's a registry problem or something.. I even tried re installing windows.. Listing my parts below vvvvv
Cpu: Intel pentium G3250 3.2ghz
Gpu: GeForce GT 610
Memory: Samsung 4Gb
Mobo: AsRock H81M-HDS
Hdd: Unsure but 500gb storage.
Power supply: Ac Bel HBA008-ZA1GT 350wat. Did not do test on this but I don't think it's the problem.
Extras;
Bios: American Megatrends zinc Version| p1.90
Operating system: Windows 8.1
SIDE NOTES: it will not freeze running games, but while doing simple things like YouTube it just locks.. It's quite frustrating and I need help right away! Because o honestly don't want to send it in because that's gonna be a lot of money..

I vote a cheap and nasty PSU fitted instead of a good quality branded on like corsair,Silverstone,Xfx,Antec.

All quality sturdy an reliable rock solid PSU`s.

Ac Bel HBA008-ZA1GT 350wat a cheap PSU made in china.

I`m pretty shocked IBuy put such a cheap and no name power supply in the system.
But there again it`s what they do to save pennies when you buy a pre built system.
Maximizing there profit on the sale of the pre built and configured system.

It`s most likely the cause because it`s a key component of any pc, If the PSU is unstable and a cheap one it can cause all manner of problems, from system crashes, to total system lock up. You should replace the PSU no doubt at all in my mind.

Here we go £10 says it all. Even the guy...

The amp ratings are pitiful on the power output and amp rating label on the Psu.
Buy a better Psu preschool, before this one gives up the ghost on you.
Trouble with cheap Psu is they have no protection against overloading or surge spikes ect, and often when they do blow up tent to take the rest of the computer or parts of it along for the ride.
So for safety and to protect the rest of your pc, get a new Psu of a good brand name.
Click below for good quality Psu`s. Look at the first Psu listed and it`s specs plus all of the voltage protection circuits.

Your current Psu in the system. I see no mention of any circuit protection.

I'm going to try and see how it runs with a new power supply. My good friend just bought a 650 watt one and his old one is a 400 so I will see how it runs! Thanks for such a speedy response! He never had a problem with this psu so let's hope I don't either!
