Can a single Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB WINDFORCE game at 1440p ultra 60 fps?

look at this review .... metro last light ultra with physics turned off averages 62.3FPS
very high demanding game for graphics cards

but crysis 3 only 31FPS ....
980's sli or 980ti or 780ti in sli I would say YES...

most games would be great some just playable... CRYSIS 3 is14 probably one of the most demanding games tho.. so mostly YES you could get a lot of games at ULTRA 1440p 55 to 60FPS

that's as of now ..... the future is a different story...

No not likely, it will do quite well tih some settings turned down, but not all games are created/coded equally.

At that high resolution AA is not really required anymroe, if you could live with some other features turned down im sure you could do quite well.

have a look and see if these settings and related performance is going to be good enough for what you want to do.
