Whats the best upgrade from a gtx 660?

I was looking at the gtx 970 for the price stand point but not sure if it will be a noticable difference in pc gaming.

So whats the best upgrade from a gtx 660 if price isnt an issue? Also if price was an issue is the gtx 970 a good card to upgrade to?

If price isn't an issue, then something like the GTX 980Ti or the R9 Fury X are the two to choose from. As for the 970, yes it's quite an improvement over the 660. Whether it's enough of an improvement to justify upgrading to, I don't know, that's for you to decide.

The gtx 970 or r9 390 would be solid upgrades, and both have good price/performance.

At least aim for 970. 960 still noticeable upgrade though
