Pump Connected To Fan Controller

Ok, so like the title says I'm wondering if it's possible to connect a water cooling pump to a fan controller. I don't know if a dial or touch screen fan controller would destroy the pump due to an improper amount of power being supplied, but what's to keep an on/off toggle switch fan controller, like the 1ST PC COR​P. FC-HUMM​ER-BBL 5-c​hannel with 100W per channel, from working as an easy-to-reach on/off?

Because I'm setting up a rig that will have a quiet mode and a performance mode. The quiet mode will consist of 5 quiet high cfm fans, while the performance mode will have many loud fans/pumps. I don't always want to run the noisy fans and pumps, especially if I'm just surfing the web or doing basic tasks such as this. So, I'd like to flip a switch to turn off the noisy fans/pumps when I'm finished gaming or flip it on when I start gaming.
