Hi.

I was wondering if you could help me build a pc for my needs which is pc gaming, streaming, video editing/rendering and photo editing and I would like it to be based on the x99 platform.

The sites I can purchase from are: https://www.komplett.no/ https://www.netonnet.no/ https://www.mpx.no/ http://www.lefdal.com/ http://www.multicom.no/ http://www.ps.no/

I want the best I can get for 50 000 norwegian kroner added up from each of these sites but hopefully you can find all the items needed on one of them :p
It must include a keyboard and an os and a cd drive for installing some old games and the os.

If you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask!
Thank you in advance :)

Yep. Approximately 6000 US Dollars. I do not have any preferences. I would like to have kind of a dark color scheme like red and black but I would go with anything actually. I'm not planning on extreme overclocking but might in the future, emphasis on the maybe. Would the watercooling be a smart option?

This build doesn't include a monitor, or case, or real cooling solution. This is what i'd recommend and i'd say look for these parts in your native website the language barriers a bit hard for me.

As for case i say go sm8 because well for one they offer some beautiful cases and a looooot of customization, for two if you're spending that much money you want a nice case. Also, go water cooling the cpu fan i included will get the job done, but if you plan on overclocking which i assume you do go with that. Psu 1600 watts because why not it is a bit overkill but 6k for a build is a bit overkill so why not. You could put mulitple gtx titans in your case build but i think one is more then enough if you plan on going 4k res i'd get at least two.

Well if you generally want a quieter build go water cooling but because of the amazing attributes of water cooling, ex it being able to dissipate heat extremely efficiently it'll get a bit toasty in a room. Though if you put enough rads in you can make a nearly silent build. Which is also why i say if you're going to make a serious build check out sm8a at caselabs you can really delve into the customization they make the specs of the build to your options. Closing off the bottom chamber where the psu and rad will fit. Massive clear door on the case. Ridiculous rad space like 540mm rads. Overall for that money i'd go for a nice clean build. The only case that i can think of that would offer that would be a magnum sm8. Would love to see pics of the build when its done.

The problem with watercooling is that I do not know what I need and I do not know how to set it up.

Well if you hold off on the build for about a year then yes you'd get some 6 to 8 core chips. Anymore then that and you're basically building a server, which personally is highly unnecessary for what you're trying to achieve. Though if we follow trends of processors only increasing in increments of about 10% every update and thats if you're lucky, its 10% so realistically between 5-10 7% . You'd wait a year to maybe get a 7% increase granted their'd be newer instructions in the chip i don't think i'd justify the year wait.

As far as skylake 4 core cpu vs a haswell refresh 6-8 core i say go 8 or 6 core because you said you plan on video editing/ streaming/ photo editing. Which all would work better and faster with more cores/hyper threading. Plus as it stands if you bought a 4core skylake chip the max ram you could put in it would be 32 gigs and thats it while in a x99 you can have around 128gb max. Which is more useful if you're rendering.
