[SOLVED] Seagate freeagent 2 TB drive, does not mount with HD Utility shows as unformatted 4 GB drive

I have a MAC running OS X 10. i use a seagate freeagent desk 2TB drive for backups. Now with the Disk Utility shows as a 4 GB drive and it does not mount and i cant read it with a file recovery programs.

I'd recommend you to try the "Repair Disk" option in Disk Utility and see if that will help you get the external properly recognized. Another thing you should try is connecting it to a different Mac and see how it will appear there. If the problem persists, it's best to contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.
