Will an amd quad core ii x4 750k cpu hold a amd radeon r9 290 graphics card?

I'm currently looking at upgrading my laptops (which is an acer aspire E 13) processor and graphics card, but when I was looking, I noticed a problem. I was not totally sure if an AMD Quad core II X4 750k processor would hold an AMD radeon r9 290 graphics card. If anyone knows the solution to this, please let me know.

I think he wants to upgrade his laptop CPU to the 750k.

But anyway, you can't upgrade the CPU to a 750k, and a R9 290 will not fit, its as big as the laptop its self.
