Task manager shows 2 cores on a quad core processor

Hey guys, so I have a AMD A10-5800k which should have 4 cores (saw it on their website and on other sale sites) and I am wondering why is my task manager showing only 2 cores? Does that even have any effect on the pc while running games like ARMA3 etc.?

Both Device manager and CPU-z show 4 cores. Should I just not care for the manager saying only 2 cores or what?

It shows 4 logical processors which is correct though. This is done intentionally so the workload is balanced - although it has 4 "cores", each pair of cores share certain resources.

Technically your cpu is a quad core (as you can obviously see that says 4 logical core )no doubt but give it a try with this :
Go to Run and type : Msconfig__> Boot__> Advanced options__> Make sure number of processors is not ticked

(and also Pci lock and debug )

Restart your pc

I have tried that already and it still says 2 cores. Even tried placing number of processors to 4 but nothing really happend.
Should I try updating my BIOS? maybe that will fix it
