Computer Shut Off Suddenly with no warning. Problem?

Hi All,
So I built and water cooled my pc about a year ago now and have been running properly with no major problems since then. A week ago however, I was playing a game when my PC unexpectedly and completely shut off as if the power had gone out, with no warning, BSOD, or anything. Heat levels were probably 40 - 50c, which is natural for my build under load. My first thought was that it was a power outage, but every other electric object seemed to be working fine. I rebooted after it cooled off and ran it for 20 more hours (or so) without any problems, and it seems to be running as if nothing happened. Everything works. I checked my water cooling loop for leaks but found neither head nor tail of any such thing, and my components don't seem to be failing in any way... As you might imagine, this has left me scratching my head. Is there a problem here, or was this just some sort of power fluctuation that only affected my computer or something?

Also, an unrelated question but something I am still wondering: Is a computer supposed to hum even when all fans are off? Mine does; in fact, the humming noise drowns out the fans most of the time.
Thanks,
Jay

Oh the computer hums when all the fans are off, but I'm not sure if its the psu doing the humming or not. Will check when I get home.
