Hi, so I just built my new pc. I installed windows and everything seemed fine. I did not see that the graphics card (GTX 970) was listed in device manager when I went to do the driver updates. I am using an MSI h97 Pc Mate motherboard and went to the bios to see if I could make it the primary graphics card. I must have clicked the wrong things because when I restarted the computer to see if it worked, my monitor does not display the screen anymore. All I changed was the selection under graphics IGD or PEG. It was defaulted to PEG so I figured the IGD was the correct choice but now my screen won't show anything. I have the DVI-HDMI cable hooked into the graphics card so that can't be it. How do I get my screen back to change it???

Solution
If your monitor is plugged into the graphics card, and your BIOS is set to PEG, it's the main GPU. The driver should come from nvidia's page which I edited into my first post. Just run the driver's .exe and it'll take care of the rest.

Ok that worked thank you. I had tried plugging it into the mobo originally but it did not change display. After I restarted computer it displayed on my monitor so I could switch it back. Any idea how to make my graphics card show up on device manager so I can update drivers and make it the main gpu?
