Help comparing laptop to Xbox one

I'm trying to compare my computer to my consol, not sure whether or not my laptop can pull off better graphics than my Xbox one, I have a laptop with an i7 4720HQ(2.6-3.6ghz) cpu and an NVIDIA 960m graphics card with 4gb dedicated VRAM and overall 16gb of ram, I'm wondering how consol style games will run on it for example how will the laptop play GTA5 or battlefield 4 compared to my Xbox one.

The 960m is quite a good card and should be able to handle most games at high settings except for very demanding games like ac unity.

Compared with your console, it will be able to handle the games better but you must remember that console games have less effects like lighting and shadows. And that the screen on your laptop is smaller which means that games should look better if they are optimised.

But the console has the advantage that most games will come out on it before the pc and are generally more optimised.
