It could be anything really. Well lets describe the issue. Two weeks ago I was streaming(Life is Strange), and my monitor suddenly turned black, so I knew it restarted. The problem is the fact that it didn't boot back up. I needed to turn it off from the power button and start again. I thought it was maybe because of the windows updates. Turns out it wasn't. Because after I restarted the stream again, after like 10 minutes, it happened again.

I decided it was maybe an overheating issue. Now more onto that problem. I had issues with overheating, and I bought an aftermarket cooler. Placed it down my cpu, but the temps stayed the same(which is because of the case, I need to change it, cause its too small and it has a lot of wires from the psu blocking the airflow). My temps are 50 degrees C when my pc is idle, and they ramp up to 70 degrees in full load.

The thing is, I was sure that it is a heating issue because I know that obs requires lots of resources in order to run. But it turns out that it may be not. Because when I ran prime95, for like an hour or two, my pc didn't restart even once. Also even playing less intensive games such as darksiders or life is strange, causes my pc to sometimes restart.

Again I don't know what to think, because I started streaming before windows 10 launched, and my pc while having these temps didn't restart at all. In my opinion, and from what I've seen by now, it may be either an overheating issues(although my tests kind of prove it wrong), or a windows issue.

I don't know if anyone can help me, cause I have my head all stuck into this issue. The thing is that every time this happens, the "symptoms" are exactly the same. Black monitor screen, pc restarts, no booting, doesn't boot until I start it again myself.

My specs:
CPU: amd Athlon II x4 740(no oc)
GPU: NVidia gtx 750 ti
psu: superflower 500w
os: windows 10 pro
Ram: 4 gb
cpu cooler: arctic cooling freezer pro rev 7

if you think it a heat issue...take the side of the case off see if the temps are less. also use a small fan to blow air into the case to see if it a heat issue. on the gpu use msi afterburner make sure the gpu fan is ramping up under load.

set it to sensor mode and log your power supply voltages make sure the 12v rail is holding.

Sounds more like a PSU or GPU issue.
It not restarting with Prime95 is not surprising, since Prime95 doesnt use the GPU at all.
Try using Furmark and Prime95 at the same time and watch the temps of the graphics card.
