ASROCK 960GM-VGS3 FX + AMD FX-6300 + What ram? + what GPU?

Hi all, I have this motherboard and cpu and I was looking to upgrade my pc but was told that if I upgrade my RAM and GPU then I would be able to play battlefield 4 on high settings. Is this true? I currently have 8GB single-channel DDR3 @ 534MHZ ram. Which ram and which graphics card should I get that is compatable with this motherboard that will allow me to play BF4 on high settings? Thanks in advance.

Also, does power supply matter?

Yes, you should be able to, However I think the RAM is fine, I'd just put your money towards a GPU. I'd chose an AMD for the GPU, because they're cheaper and would probably run better beside the AMD CPU.

Heres a list of GPUs you should look into (I've tried to find the closest matching PC to yours, so depending on the components of the other persons PC, fps may differ):

Radeon 7870, about £100, and heres it playing BF4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FwStIArKug
Radeon R9 280x, about £115 on average, and heres it on BF4:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4bwS0hEUhg
