I recently bought a Pentium g3258 and an Asus h81m-plus. I tried overclocking just a little on the stock bios but it would just load the windows logo then restart (essentially pressing the reset button). So id reset to stock clock speeds then go back to normal on my PC, i then updated the bios to a newer version with more compatibility for overclocking.

After the update my PC does the reset as soon as the windows logo appears regardless of the clock speed. I cant use my PC anymore for this reason. I need help, does anyone have experience/ suggestions on the issue.

UPDATE: Underclocked both the CPU and the voltage, but obviously this cannot be a long term solution.
