Haven't Built A Computer In Years. Need Some Help!! Please!!!

I have been away from the computer technology world for a long long time now and I have noo clue what a good build is anymore. I was wondering if I could get some help putting together a gaming pc that will be able to run GTA 5 at ultra settings and eventually be ready for 4k gaming(if that's possible), Battlefield will most likely also be getting played quite a bit too. My budget is $1,500. I have no problem spending it all but if the price can be cheaper that is fine too. I was looking on new egg at some of there DIY build combos but I'm really confused on what I should be looking for now a days. Last gaming PC I built was back in the Battlefield 2 and Starcraft days.
