You can't really go wrong with the ASUS Strix, Gigabyte Windforce, MSI Gaming, or EVGA ACX models. Reference designs are fine too, but have no factory overclock and just an adequate cooling solution (that exhausts air out the back of the case).

Factory overclocked with good cooling solutions => http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/asus-video-card-strixgtx970dc2oc4gd5%2Cevga-video-card-04gp42978kr%2Cgigabyte-video-card-gvn970g1gaming4gd%2Cmsi-video-card-gtx970gaming4g/

970 fits just fine. The PSU is enough and you got a very capable CPU.
It doesnt really matter which 970 you get. Just go for a design which you like or if you dont want to overclock just go for the one with the highest frequenzy available in India. :)

If i remember correctly the MSI 970 was the fastest available.
Had a MSI GTX580 and was very happy with it. :)

The EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW ACX 2.0 is currently the highest factory overclocked model at 1.22Ghz. There is a Zotac and Galaxy model at 1.23GHz if you wanted to roll the dice on support and the cooling solution.

Ok i just checked and it seems that things have changed a bit by now. Because back when the 970 was completely new EVGA had some problems with their 970s because some chips werent connected to the heatsink 100% correctly. Seems like they redone it with higher clocks.
Anyway both are great companys which i can recommend to anyone. :)

get gigabyte 970 g1, best of the best in all benchmarks, cooling, outside of some one model that has more stickers and core clock was pushed notch higher which made the card not worth it, because you add few more dollars and you get gtx 980 for 500.
