Budget Gaming Laptop! Which one?

Hey guys, I live in Ohio and will be buying a laptop from either Newegg, BestBuy, or Microcenter.

My budget is low. I do not want to go above $400. I will be playing some Free-To-Play games on Steam like TF2, Unturned, NMRIH, GMod, any other source based games, Minecraft. Maybe some Skyrim, Civ 5. Everything at 720p! No 1080p!

I will probably do some multitasking so 4 cores are recommended, or 2 cores with multithreading (Intel).

Also please more than 4GB: 6GB or 8GB recommended.

I am choosing between these two:

Is the more expensive one worth the extra $60? Any other suggestions?

I want to go as cheap as POSSIBLE.

Thank you!

The A8-6410 ('Cat Cores') APU has 1/3 the Radeon cores running at a slower clock speed (or, 2 'CUs') of the A10-7300 (6 CUs). It has roughly the same graphics performance of the Intel chip.

It will handle Minecraft and other OpenGL games well. Older DX9 titles (FEAR, Vegas: Rainbow6, etc) and a lot of Source games, too. Skyrim ain't happenin' nor any other DX11 games.

The A10-7300 will handle Skyrim and many other DX11 games at 720p, medium and low settings. It also has some introductory HSA features which utilize OpenCL GPU compute to accelerate Adobe and other software.

That said, the A8-6410 is a great chip, even better with an SSD. I use one to do light CAD work 'on the road' ...

The AMD A10 will have slightly better graphics capability than the i3. The i3 is probably quicker in day-to-day tasks (web browsing, etc), though they're about even.

For that price, you're probably limited to around those two chips in any make/model of laptop, but I have never been a fan of Acer.

Do you have any suggestions? The A10 seems a bit pricey after you add in a printer, and some peripherals I want to buy. In total its gonna be like $500. So is the lenovo g50 a good laptop? Also, is there some other cheap laptop with hd4400+ or r5+ graphics?

I found this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834319445&leaderboard=1

but is there anything else?

Dude... Budget... As cheap as possible. I'm not looking to max out games but to play the games I listed 40+ FPS at Low-Med settings. Is G50 capable of that and d you have any OTHER suggestions?

40+? No - 25-35 FPS territory. An A8 chip may do what you're looking for on most basic titles, but you're often dipping into 4 GB RAM territory at those price points, and 4 GB stinks (you can upgrade RAM on most laptops, but some solder it in).
