Hello so I decided to upgrade from 8gb to 16gb . I currently have 2x4gb sticks of Corsair Vengenace 1600mhz. ( CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 ). I bought 2 of 1x4gb sticks of Corsair Vengenace 1600mhz ( CMZ4GX3M1A1600c9 ). I have tried mixing them together but my PC won't boot please help. They both have the same frequency. Timing and voltage. But it just won't turn on I have tried turning it on with only one and etc. Please help guys.
I have an i7 2600 and a z77 ds3h motherboard

Solution
Try raising the DRAM voltage to 1.575. There are no guarantees when mixing sets (packages) of DRAM, even of the same exact model and here it appears you are mixing 3 packages. Increasing the voltage as suggested often can help them play nice, might also try a similar increase in voltage to the MC (memory controller) think it's CPUVTT or DDRVTT on your mobo (about + 0.06 from current setting)
