I need a quick answer. Is this PC worth the money for gaming?

Is the GPU not good? I personally hate AMD stuff, but for the price it is hard to beat. But on the benchmark sites that video card rated 4530, which I thought was pretty good these days. I don't plan on playing the newest games on max settings by any means, probably like med-high settings.

What he said. Decent value at that price. Systems like that often have sketchy PSUs. I'd be checking it out very carefully and finding a review, if one exists, and would be prepared to replace it, for about $40 at the moment.

You will be limited by the CPU, eventually, and it will be expensive to upgrade it significantly, since this will likely require a new motherboard and Operating System. Your existing Operating System is keyed to you motherboard and cannot be moved.

Eh. It is ok, but the CPU is fairly weak as is the PSU and MB. The OS ($90) and R9 270x ($160) make up half of that cost which is a good deal, but poor other components bring the overall value down. Below would be a comparable build. Notice the price difference is with the PSU, and MB + CPU combo..

This computer will be just for mid-high settings gaming while I am slow at work. It is a work computer that I will be using for gaming on the side. It is not a dedicated gaming machine. Also I am not able to buy the parts and build my own, I have to buy it through best buy because I can finance it through there.

What PSU does it come with? I can't find anywhere that talks about it. I can buy a new PSU with it if that one really is the downfall of the machine.

There's a keyboard/mouse and DVD drive included too. With the memory, the 'crud' is about only $100.

Depends entirely on what you're wanting to play and what type of performance you're expecting. A10 isn't a bad chip-series and they're fairly efficient in terms of power/performance ratio. 270X is a decent mid-range GPU and if you're not wanting to play triple A titles or to max out settings it will get the job done. I prefer AMD is definitely the budget option for CPU & GPU options, so temper your expectations a little.

I play SWTOR, WoW, Diablo 3, Skyforge, SC2, FF14 and ARK. I don't play any of the new high end shooter games like battlefield or anything. And I would never plan on running any newer games a max settings with this PC. It would be mid-high settings.

Just get a nividia in the future, but take you are practice stealing it for this price.

I does not specify the PSU and that is usually one of the areas that people cut corners. Gaming on a card as powerful as yours is a high-performance use that will stress the PSU. Cheap PSUs don't handle stress too well. It would not stop me from buying the system, I'd just be aware of the limitations.

General intuition would tell you at least 500W but for that price, that is why I said to get it then upgrade later

I'm sure that it's 'big' enough. It's the primary and secondary capacitors and general build and parts that I would be concerned about. If it were 'good' it would be mentioned in the Specifications. The absence of news is not a good thing.
