I think you could get away overclocking on 500W, this is a 4960x@4.2 ghz and a gtx 970 and it doesn't really go above 310 watts and probably wont ever go over 350, a quality 500W PSU would be fine.
And also according to this the 970 consumes more power than a 760.
You have the Watts you need. Do you have all the parts? That EVGA PSU is not high-performance enough for your system, especially if you plan to overclock. The $50 EVGA B2 750W suggested above is great and is the $40 Antec Neo Eco 620W.
If you are going to overclock, you also need an aftermarket CPU cooler, stock is too weak.
I have an i7-4790k CPU and ASUS z-97K MB, 32 Gb of Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400 DDR3 RAM and a 4Gb Gigabyte GTX970 G1 Gaming and all runs fine on a 600w PSU so I think you are good. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the GTX970 G1 Gaming version uses less juice than a GTX760 and delivers more power so you ever find one at an affordable price I would recommend getting it.
And as the above post states DO NOT OC on a 500w and do NOT use the stock cooler if you plan on OCing you CPU. I learned that the hard way and now I have the Noctua NH-L12 which is a better Cooler. A decent 750w PSU would be needed if you wish to OC efficiently. I set my CPU back to stock speed as with my 600w my OC was always unstable and that is not good.

I agree with Tiny Voices, you could use 500W. I actually use a XFX TS 550 for 4790K and 970. At $50, with rebate, you cannot go wrong with the EVGA B2 750 VR.
