Stuck on which to choose go with GTX 880m 8GB or 970m 3gb

To sum this up quick im stuck between two gaming laptops

specs on #1

I7 4700mq
8gb of ram
1tb 7200rpm drive
880m 8gb
15.6" screen
No OS
Price $948.00

laptop #2

I7 5700HQ
8gb of ram
1tb hdd
970m 3gb
15.6" screen
Windows 8.1
$1299.00

Both laptops are new my question is will i ever use the 8gb on the 880m the 970m is around 15-20% faster then the 880m but im worried that the 3gb of ram will not be enough i use very close to that on arma 3 at 1920x1080.

So what would you do

I went with the 880m for the simple fact that the 880m was not embedded to the mother board. After a little research the gigabyte laptop with the 970m had the cpu and gpu embedded to the motherboard which is a no go for me for two reasons.

1. Every motherboard out now is made in CHINA. And if things go wrong after the warranty is up i couldn't take the components out.

2. Later down the road i can upgrade the CPU to a i7 49xxMX and a 980M or later etc.

So i decided to go with the PowerPro R 5:8-880 (MSI GT60) Much cheaper price and only about 15% slower the the latter for $389.99 cheaper because i didnt get the 8gb of ram. Im going to install my own kit for cheaper! So i got it out the door for $910.00
