Graphics card is not receiving sufficient power

I have Nvidia Quadro FX 3500. Whenever I turn on my computer, it says that graphic card is not receiving sufficient power. My PSU is 475 watts. On some website, I read that this graphic card need 350W power supply (450W required for SLI). I have recently planned to purchase new GT-730 which require 300W power supply.

Is there some problem in power supply or is it because of some problem in graphic card? I am worried that if there is problem in power supply then GT-730 may continue giving this message where it also say that it will lower the performance of this graphic card.

What make and model is the PSU? If it's cheap, the 475 might be peak ad the stable output much lower.

OEM's are not known for using quality PSU's and from the looks on the label, it doesn't inspire confidence in the actual quality. You should consider a replacement. Here is a list of quality PSU's:

Pick something from Tiers 1-3 and you should be good. Maybe get something like a 550w or 600w, that should give you the option to upgrade further later on if desired.

There was another small connector with it and its wire was coming out from 6 pin connector. I don't know where to connect it. Is it there to be connected to some place? If so then where?

If it's a 2 pin wire connected to the 6 pin, that just means that it can be used as 6 or 8 pin. It's called a 6+2 pin connector. If the GPU has a 6 pin connection then there is nowhere to connect the extras.
