I have my Ethernet cable plugged in but my computer says no internet I use a net gear for internet

Hi. Make sure you have entered your network settings on the router correctly, if you have done so then call your ISP. If you have changed your router recently have in mind most of the ISP use MAC address filter to limit unwanted hook-ups to their network. If thats the reason then they will have to add your router. You can also try to fill in that network settings into your pc and connect directly (bypassing the router) if it works and your ISP havent limited your MAC address then you know the router is faulty
