Hi.

I was wondering which one of these graphics cards is the best. I am using a dual 1080P monitor setup using this build:

CPU:i7-5960X
CPU Cooling: EKWB EK-KIT X240
Motherboard: Asus Rampage V Extreme
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 32GB 4x8gb
GPU: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 980 Ti AMP! Exteme Edition
HDD: WD Desktop Black 4TBx2
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB
PSU: Corsair HX1000i
OS: Microsoft Windows 10
CD-ROM: ASUS BC-12D2HT
Case: Corsair Graphite 780T

The things I will be using the build for is Gaming whilst streaming, video editing and photo editing. Games I will be playing are: CS GO, LOL, Shadow of mordor, Far cry 4, Gta V and many other games like those mentioned.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions and thank you in advance!

Thanks for the quick reply! I am going to wait and see what other people say since I want different opinions. I didn't mean to sound rude and I apoligize if it came of like that!

I have the Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP Extreme edition! It is brilliant, I'm playing Elite Dangerous at 1920x1200 v-sync on with all setting maxed out and I even have Supersampling x2. It's smooth constant 60fps. Also anything else I play I can crank up the settings and have v-sync on. It comes with a free game (you have to do a thing online to get it into your Stream account but only takes 5 minutes). It is also the fastest 980Ti card out there, check the table at the bottom of this page:-

http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b3330/zotac-gtx-980-ti-amp-extreme-edition.html

And it comes with a 5 year warranty, I love when a company is confident about their product and that warranty shows just that.

It's 100% silent when just on desktop as the fans go to 0. Most the time I can't hear the card, only time it got a bit loud was yesterday, it was roasting hot, I was sitting in shorts sweating ot was so hot inside and I was playing Elite for about 8 hours straight. It only got a bit loud in large stations. I think it was the AA and supersampling of all of the girders and stuff inside the station.

The card is only supposed to go to 1355Mhz on boost, but out the box mine goes to 1455Mhz so very happy with that.

Is it possible to just get the regular amp edition and get the same performance?

I apoligize for asking so many questions! So let's say the max overclock you can do on the extreme version is 1500mhz. I can do the same with the amp edition, and even more if possible?

Impossible to say. The reason the Amp! Extreme has such a price increase over the AMP! is because the cips are binned. I.e, they are specially selected to be the best of the batch.

It's possible that an AMP! will overclock to the same as an Extreme, But it's not certain.

With the Extreme you are buying certainty,.

Zotac 980ti have som problem with the fan controller makeing the fans spin up an down (at least some).. I returned my Zotac 980ti amp for a Msi 980Ti gameing.
The Msi card is faster and im 100% satisfied now.

980ti msi lightning..

Just by looking at your build, I am assuming you have a big wallet, so why not go for the msi gtx 980ti lightning,
it does cost a little bit more than the zotacs, but truly is an amazing card...

please mark this as a solution if u found this helpful,

but talking about your selections, I would rather go with the amp! extreme!,
but yeah 980ti lightning is on the top of my list..!!
