What kind of heat sink would work with my CPU?

Hi guys, I just bought a new prebuilt rig that I got for a steal on newegg, but I'm having a problem, my temperatures are really hot.. I'm running an FX-8320 and an R9 380 on an MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) mobo. With the stock cooler I'm idling around 55C with Guild Wars 2 up, doing nothing, and while and installer was running while just casually playing the game it got up to 65C, which kind of scares me for a brand new computer.
Would any of you guys know what kind of cooler would be compatible with my cpu/mobo? I'm really looking for something that I can feel safe with, instead of hearing my computer sound like it's going to blow up all day long.

Depending on the width of your case, the Cooler Master 212 EVO will be great with that CPU. Unfortunately you have to remove the stock retention brackets to mount the cooler. And you'll need a wide cutout on the motherboard tray to access the mounting hdwr. on the back. Either that or you will have to remover the board from the case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099

If you would rather not mess with all that, there are several good air coolers that replace the stock cooler using the same clip-on mounting. No need to remove the retention brackets or remove the board.

Thanks for the answer, and sorry for my late reply back. I ended up going to a Microcenter and picking up the 212 EVO and mounted it in my case (which was a pain in the ass). I just removed both side panels from the case and replaced both sides' parts with the ones out of the box. Would have been a hell of a lot easier outside of the case though.

The 212 EVO can be kind of tricky to get mounted correctly the first time you do it. Once the 4 mounting posts are secure to the backplate, be sure the 4 screws are run fully to their stop so the X bracket puts the proper pressure on the CPU. Correctly installed, the 212 EVO should solve your cooling issues.
