Hello, guys. I just wanna ask for your opinions regarding my current gaming rig. Which current games (2014, 2015 released) and on what settings can I enjoy a somewhat 40-60ish FPS on them. Atm, I can go Ultra on BF3 getting a stable 60 FPS on 1366 x 768 resolution.

Here's my full PC specs:

CPU: FX-6300 [Stock Speed and Cooler]
GPU: Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 2GB OC Edition [Stock Speed]
RAM: 2x4GB Dual-Channel 1333 MHz
Storage: 2TB WD Caviar Green
PSU: Deepcool Aurora 500w 80+ Bronze

Lastly, I also want your opinion in regards if the resolution is 1080p. Your comments and suggestions will be deeply appreciated.

Solution
You should see decent fps gains when dropping resolutions. Especially when dropping from 1080 to 720. Granted the graphical fidelity or pixel density, is decreased as well. Meaning most finer details will look pix elated like general textures. Personally i'd take lower settings and higher resolution whenever possible or higher settings and higher resolution at the cost of frames. As long as their stable and above 30-40. I'm ok with it.

Hey man that's a pretty good card you have and you should be able to manage almost any game on High settings.
I do have a question though, If you have a card like a 270 why aren't you running 1080p gaming to begin with, is it your monitor or something. Please respond, Kliqx.

Thank you for the compliment, and does that include recent games like Witcher 3 and GTA 5? Also, yes my monitor's max supported resolution is only 1366 x 768 and also at only 60 Hz refresh rate. I'm planning to buy a 1080p one soon but I'm not sure which brand to get as I'm thinking of getting a "bang for buck" one. Can you recommend me a good one?

Thank you for the comment, I'm just kinda wondering what I'll get if it's on a lower resolution of 1366 x 768.
