Wireless laser combo & Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000

I have been using a Microsoft Natural wireless combo which included the 6000 series laser mouse. The mouse is going bad (left button click very glitchy. All other buttons work fine) Can't find a replacement but I am looking at the Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000.
My question is two fold:
1. the 4000 comes with it's own usb bluetooth dongle. Can I use this bluetooth mouse while continuing to use the 'natural' wireless keyboard or will the bluetooth cause connection problems?
2. Does the bluetooth cause me security risks?

Microsoft's Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 doesn't use BT, it uses 2.4G wireless:

You shouldn't have any problem using the new wireless mouse dongle alongside your existing keyboard dongle. That's exactly what I'm doing at the moment.

I believe that I saw 'bt' in the description and assumed it meant blue tooth. I tend to stay as far away from blue tooth as I can and therefore have no expertise in it.

In the features list for the Mobile Mouse 4000 you probably saw that it has "BlueTrack Technology" which is a proprietary technology combining laser & optical mouse-tracking for greater precision. It has nothing to do with bluetooth but easy to see how you may have confused the two terms.
