Hey guys im looking to build a desktop with a 1000$ budget. That doesnt mean i need to spend 1000 i just can. Im trying to tailor it to the next wow expansion at max settings. Please help me.

WoW is a single core game, so focusing on having a very strong single core will help the most, hence a top of the line i3. It's also a 32-bit application, so it can't really use more than 3gbs of ram, so 8 is all you need, but having faster ram will help. It's not that visually impressive either so you don't need the absolute highest end card, the gtx-960 is a very good middle tier card that will provide solid performance in other games as well. This is a high quality power supply, you don't want to skimp out on the PSU, it's quite litterally the most important part of your computer because your computer can't run without power, and uncontrolled levels of power can damage it.

If your main use for this computer is world of warcraft, you wont ever find a situation where you'd need more than 8gb of ram. If youre playing at a resolution higher than 1080p (or plan to use their really cool rendering scale option to scale resolution to 200%) then you'll want a card with probably 4gb of ram. Luckily most maimstream graphics cards have 4gb of ram. My suggestion? Buy a prebuilt ibuypower with something like an i3 and a 750ti/r7 260x. My radeon 7870, pentium g3258 @4ghz and 8gb of ram run wow at absolute maximum settings (outside of raids and battlegrounds) at 45+fps. In raids and bg's i put rendering scale back down to 100% (1080p) and lower settings from ultra to high, and msaa from 16x depth/16x color to 8xdepth and 8xcolor.

Hope this helps.
EDIT: A radeon 7870ghz is about equal to an r9 270. (Or maybe 270x, cant recall at the moment.)

Have they even released the system requirements for the next expansion? I don't think I'd buy any dual core cpu for a brand new build, especially if you have a $1000 budget, also would never buy from ibuypower they either overcharge you by a lot or fill your pc with junk psu/hdd/memory.
