Well, in the next few weeks I am going to be upgrading my PC. The components I am going to change are everything except the Hard Drive which I will use in the new system, and the GPU. So my question is will I be able to use the same copy of Windows 7 (it isnt a retail version, I don't have a disk for it.) or will I have to buy it again?
If this is the issue and I will have to buy it again would I be able to install windows 10 to a USB before I change anything and install that after I have changed components?

You got a key when you purchased. If you purchased it, you got a DVD of it as well. You can install Windows at anytime, within Windows or even through a USB flash drive, using a bootable copy of windows.

If its OEM its technically locked to the original motherboard its installed to. Upgrading the motherboard will require a new licence. You might be able to convince Microsoft to let you move it but it will be up to them. If you want an OS that you can move without issue you need to buy retail.
