Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600 MHz running at 1333 MHz?

I was checking some things on Task Manager earlier and I noticed that in the memory section it said "speed: 1333 MHz" which seems odd because it should be running at 1600 Mhz. Ido a lot of intense gaming with my PC and if the RAM is running at 1333 MHz then I haven't noticed any performance issues so far. Is my RAM actually running at 1333 MHz or is Task Manager just displaying something wrong? Would I notice any difference in my games if my RAM was running at 1333 MHz instead of 1600 MHz?

Hi,
the best thing to do is goto bios and set it there if it's running at 1333.

Could be your mobo limited at 1333

It is indeed running at 1333 MHz, the BIOS confirms that. The DRAM Frequency was set on Auto which was 1333 MHz but it looks I can just manually change it to 1600 MHz. Would that fix my problem?

Yes if Intel based, simply enable XMP and select profile 1, on AMD look for XMP, DOCP, EOCP or AMP and enable, select 1600, any problems let us know mobo, CPU and DRAM model #

Okay thanks. I changed it to 1600 MHz but I didn't have to enable XMP. Is that something I should do?
