Hi there,im building my first pc and im wondering if this cpu is gonna be able to handle my games on ultra 1080p 60fps with a nvidia gtx970 gpu and 8gb ram? I will be playing the newest call of duty games, battlefeild, counterstrike go, and gta 5. im also wondering if there are good motherboards for this processor

No I don't think I would bother with 16GB RAM but that's up to you.

I'd go 16GB, there are already games calling for and using 8GB, a new version of Hitman is coming that calls for 12GB, it's just the way things are, games are utilizing DRAM more and more
