Xbox 360 Controller Support

Hey guys,
Could anyone tell me what's the best controller to play the latest pc games? I know that the "Xbox 360 controller" will be one of the definitive answers. But will all the upcoming titles also support it as a default controller or should I get something better?

If your looking for the most hassle free controller then your looking for either xbox controller.

I should have added that ANY xbox 360 or xbox one controller will work the same. I've got a friend that actually uses the afterglow series controller and likes it a lot. IF you don't mind the cord, IMO it's better then the standard xb360 controller. If you can pick it up retail the ps3 version does say it's pc compatible but i have no experience using it.

The xbox one controller will is noticeably better then the xb360 controller. Any game that will support a controller will support either xb controller. The xbox controller is the standard right now. If you want a wireless controller you can still get the xbox 360 wireless controller for PC.

The xb1 controller uses standard micro usb connector so you don't need to get the battery pack or anything like that. MS has stated that they will eventually release a wireless dongle but hasn't given a date. Also with any luck the chat pad will work on the pc this time.

Microsoft also has a extreme deluxe version coming if you want additional functions. The video for the xb1 looks great but they haven't talked about how it will work with pc exaclty

The alternative is to get a bluetooth dongle and a ps3/ps4 controller. While it will take more work to get working, the hacks are out there if you prefer sony's offering.

Thanks for the help bud.
I actually have a frontech controller but some of the recent games refuse to even recognise it. It worked well with fifa 14 and WWE 2K15 but GTA 5 behaved like there was no controller connected. Therefore I need a controller that works with almost all the latest titles without me having to use hacks or other third party applications to help me map the inputs. I hope you get my point. Thanks again. :)
