Hi guys, Im currently about to undergo my second PC build, with this one being better than my current one.

My last build I used a 600W Corsair CX600 PSU and it seemed to work perfectly. But at the time I had no idea if it would be enough power or not for the build.

But with this new build im looking for a modular PSU but I'm not sure on what wattage I'll need? Here's a list of my parts if that helps any of you guys. Thanks

Intel i5 4690k - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00KPRWB9G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

ASUS Z97 Maximus VII Hero - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00K8MUTMO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Kingston Technology 120GB SSD - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A1ZTZOG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

G.Skill Sniper series RAM - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004U4WPZA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ABQJGLE2G5CGH

Corsair Hydro H75 CPU Liquid Cooler - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FZHWFEW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Sapphire AMD Radeon Vapor-X R9 280X Tri-X - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Vapor-X-Graphics-Express-Display/dp/B00KRXU20I/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1439382567&sr=1-3&keywords=r9+280x

and at some point a 1000GB Seagate HardDrive

The case also has 2x120m and 2x120m fans.

here's one of the power supplies I've been looking at - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-Builder-Modular-Bronze-Certified/dp/B00ALK3QRS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1439381408&sr=8-1&keywords=modular+psu

I don't think I'm forgetting anything?

But at this stage I'm not even 100% if all of these parts will work together, I'm pretty sure they should but I haven't looked into that much yet.

Thanks for any replies, I hope I'm posting this in the right place and I hope I haven't missed anything or said anything stupid!

Solution
Corsair's failure to upgrade the capacitors on the CX series has left us no choice but to recommend avoiding them altogether. A gaming system demands a quality power supply. Check the PSU tier list. Link in this reply box. Choose from tier 1 or 2 only.

Thanks for the informative reply, I've had a look through the different tier PSUs and now realize why I need to now spend a bit more money on one. Thanks
